Our Athletic Trainers are Trained for Emergencies

The Banner – University Medicine high school athletic trainers recently participated in a sports emergency management training presented by Sports Medicine Emergency Management. 

The training challenged our athletic trainers through realistic emergency scenarios while strengthening critical response skills, reinforcing best practices and providing opportunities to collaborate on enhancing their emergency action plans for the upcoming school year. 

Experiences like these are invaluable in ensuring we are prepared to provide the highest level of care for the student-athletes and communities we serve.
