Dr. Allison Lane, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine – Sports Medicine, was featured in a LIVE 15-minute interview on KOLD-TV’s Tucson Now, where she spoke about protecting student athletes from heat-related illness in Southern Arizona.

She touched on everything from the spectrum of heat illness and the impact of monsoon humidity to the importance of smarter practice times and recognizing warning signs of heat stress. She also highlighted the services offered through Banner – University Medicine’s sports medicine program.
