We want our patients to be active participants in their care. So we schedule longer appointments, giving you time to fully explain your situation and giving us time to listen and process what you tell us.
We also take a team approach. Multiple physicians are involved in your care, determining the best course of treatment from different perspectives. It's like having a built-in second opinion from the start!
And because our revenue model doesn't depend on our patients or procedures, our care decisions are never driven by what is most profitable.
Small-Practice Convenience
While we're a part of the larger Banner Health system, we strive to give our patients the experience of a small, "hometown" practice.
Our direct line means you connect with familiar voices and spend less time on hold. Our small, high-touch care teams will know you by name.
We see patients in four locations – mostly at our 3 drive-up clinics across Tucson, all with easy parking. And we can often offer even brand new patients next-day (and sometimes same-day!) appointments.
Amazing Sports Medicine
Want your little leaguer or soccer diva to see the same doctors providing team care for UArizona Wildcats? Our specially trained sports physicians see athletes of all levels and ages, as well as anyone seeking great care for their active lifestyle (who says gardening isn't a sport?).
We currently work with a number of professional, college and community athletes. And our athletic trainers – now working with more than a dozen local high schools – have direct lines to our expert sports medicine physicians, who partner with them in team and individual care.
We Do It All
People often assume that our expertise means we only care for so-called "VIPs" or the most complex orthopedic emergencies.
It's true that we're trauma experts, and we do care for some well-known names. But the vast majority of our clinical care is like that of any community practice.
Our primary focus is helping everyday patients through issues that people experience all the time, with surgery only when it's clearly the best or only option. And we do it all with streamlined access to the ancillary services and resources of the extended Banner Health system.
