Margolis, Turker Earn Top Certification in Hand Surgery
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to announce that David Margolis, MD, and Tolga Turker, MD, have earned the Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
The Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand is for board-certified orthopedic surgeons who have demonstrated superior qualifications in hand surgery – well beyond those expected of other orthopedic surgeons – by virtue of additional training and a practice characterized by volume and diversity of cases in hand surgery or who have otherwise made significant contributions to this field.
The University of Arizona Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is the care provider in the region to have all hand surgeons certified with this key distinction. No matter how or when a patient is injured, our hand surgeons carry the highest qualifications to best treat them.
